Monthly Salon is where new works enter the PoMo ecosystem for the very first time, a threshold for close looking, conversation, and re-encounter. This month's solo presentation by Liana Berzins unveils a new body of drawings that move between mythology and memory, folklore and the present. Working slowly across watercolour, ink, and coloured pencil, Berzins traces the distance between a culture she was raised on and the life she inhabits now; building, mark by mark, a personal mythology that is always in the process of becoming.
